Dr. Smith was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama. She is a graduate of Gadsden High School and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology-Psychology at Birmingham-Southern College. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2009. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the Fifth-District Dental Society of Alabama.
Dr. Smith previously worked in private practice while living in Birmingham. She is passionate about dentistry and her patients and enjoys spending time educating patients on their oral health and treatment options. Her interests include oral pathology, cosmetic procedures and staying updated on new dental technologies.
Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves being back in her home town with her husband Lance and their son, Henry.
Dr. Forrest Bailey grew up in the Duck Springs community in Etowah County. He graduated from Emma Sansom High School and went on to earn his degree at The University of Alabama in Biology. Dr. Bailey graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry. White in dental school, Dr. Bailey received two National Institutes of Health research grants and presented research at the International Academy of Dental Research symposium. Dr. Bailey was also actively involved in the Christian Medical Ministries of Alabama and enjoyed spending his school breaks serving patients on local and foreign dental missions.
Upon graduation, Dr. Bailey worked in several locations for Sarrell Dental, a nonprofit dental clinic. While Dr. Bailey enjoys many cosmetic and surgical procedures, he is also passionate about treating and educating children and special needs patients.
When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Bailey enjoys many outdoor sports and activities. He also enjoys traveling and attending football games. He and his wife, Catherine McCord Bailey, have a beautiful new daughter, Charlotte.
